Bucknell freshman Maura Fiamoncini placed second in the women's javelin with a first-round throw of 177-3 (54.02m) at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships at Hayes Track at the Haugh Complex in Bloomington, Ind. Fiamoncini remains No. 3 this year among World U20 competitors with a personal-best 184-5 (56.21m) on March 31 at the Jim Taylor Invitational.
